It's Giveaway Time!

I was recently presented with the opportunity to play with the My Memories Digital Scrapbooking software program.  I had so much fun exploring the endless creative possibilities and am excited to  give away a copy of this fabulous software to one of you!

I look forward to actually putting together scrapbooks with this program...  I have made one for each set of grandparents for Christmas every year through one of the online digital photo stores.  This year's however, will be much more fun to create, now that I have what seems like an endless supply of backgrounds, embellishments and layouts at my fingertips!  But with a little bit of time to explore the My Memories software, I found that I could create so much more than just scrapbooks.

Did you happen to notice my new blog header?  I actually made it with the My Memories Suite software and it was so incredibly easy!  The best part was being able to choose the pixel size that I needed for my banner...so fast and so simple.  I haven't been able to figure out how to do that with Picasa.

I played around with some of my favorite blog photos, had them printed, and then glued them to card stock to create some of my own, unique greeting cards!  I just love that scalloped frame!  It is but one of the many lovely embellishments that come with the My Memories Suite!

I went ahead and created a simple scrapbook page to share with you as well.  Something that has always frustrated me when creating digital scrapbooks with the online companies I have used in the past is how limited I am with photo layout options.  Often times I have a certain number of photos that I want to see on a page and if their orientation isn't just right, I am forced to edit or remove photos and don't end up with the page that I really wanted.  With the My Memories program, there are no limitations when it comes to layout.  They do offer pre-made layouts to make it extra easy for you if that's what you prefer.  But if you want to really customize a page, the possibilities are endless!

No more settling for a photo Christmas card layout that doesn't quite work with our family pic... I can even create my own background and I don't have to settle for "Happy Holidays" just because that's the greeting on the card with the photo layout I need.  I am definitely using this program to make unique, custom photo Christmas cards this year!

The My Memories Suite software program is really fun and easy to use.  I am so excited to have a copy to give away to one of my lucky readers!  I know you're anxious to enter the giveaway, so here is what you'll need to do:

and peruse the many lovely free kits, then come back here and tell me which one you would download first if you were to win this giveaway!

  3. This is timely as I've about decided I need to do this. It would be a toss up between May Flowers and Inspiration Station.

  4. Hi Amanda...how have you been lately? This is a really cool idea. I have been making scrapbook pages for my kids for years by just buying different cardstock and embellishments, but this would be fun to have too:-)

I liked the Everlasting Memories page which would work for my daughter's upcoming 8th grade graduation and I also really liked the idea of both the Easy and Quick calendar pages.

Thanks so much for the info and chance to win!

  5. I have only done one digital scrapbook with an online company and I can totally relate to the frustration of not getting the look you want, because the layouts don't fit your pictures!! This program sounds great and I never thought about using something like this to come up with an unique Chritmas picture....thanks for the idea!! The page I would down load first would be the Tea Party. My oldest daughter has gotten her first "real" tea set and is so excited about having a tea party. My second daughter is, of course, wanting her own "real" tea set. :) Thanks so much for the giveaway! staceylovesvic@gmail.com

I would be so tickled to win! :)
